We are in our 2nd week in BV.\u00a0 We’ve been doing something outdoors every day.\u00a0 The terrain is rough and it’s tough on Izzy so I got her some socks for walking on gravel.\u00a0 They work great until we find a river.<\/p>\n

Every morning we go to the dog park at sunrise.\u00a0 This was the view on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Monday afternoon, we hiked a longer trail on the other side of the river.\u00a0 \u00a0The new trail goes a little higher up so we got a bigger view of BV.<\/p>\n

Today I went back to Avalanche Trailhead for my last big climb before the Jemez race this weekend.\u00a0 I wanted to break my 1:22 time to the saddle, and I did with a 1:10.\u00a0 I felt great and can definitely feel myself becoming acclimatized.\u00a0 I climbed the little peak to the right which took me over 12k feet.\u00a0 I decided to run down and made it in 38 minutes.<\/p>\n
