Tracy and I just got back from a fabulous weekend in Cancun.\u00a0 We decided to go mainly because Southwest is now flying non-stop from Austin.\u00a0 It’s only 2 hours, I can use points, and Tracy’s companion pass worked.\u00a0 We stayed at a place called Le Blanc which is part of the Palace Resorts.\u00a0 The hotel was the best place either of us had ever stayed in.\u00a0 The room was really modern, the food was extraordinary, and the service was incredible.\u00a0 The best part is it’s all-inclusive so there is no cost for over indulging.\u00a0 We ate pretty healthy and made a point to exercise every morning.\u00a0 The view below is from the porch just before sunrise.<\/p>\n
Right out the door was 10 miles of beach.\u00a0 The water was warm and most of the days we had a lot of sun.<\/p>\n The food was incredible.\u00a0 The breakfast and lunch buffets had everything you could think of from the traditional omelet station to fresh sushi.\u00a0 We ate most dinners at the Japanese restaurant.\u00a0 The menu was extensive and we made sure we tried everything.<\/p>\n![\"1IMG_1702\"](\"http:\/\/skelmo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1IMG_1702.jpg\")
